  Amazing service and staff at Bike Depot Pickering! Blake in the service department went above and beyond with helping diagnose and repair a warranty problem on my bike. There service was very quick, even during the holidays. Blake and the other service employees i saw had great attention to detail and took really good care of their customer's bikes.

  Plus, I had an issue with my bike rack and couldn't fit the bike in my car when leaving the store, but the guys at Bike Depot Pickering helped me to remove a wheel and fit the bike in the car (which was a tight fit), staying after the store had closed to help me out... and they were genuinely happy to lend a hand. That's what I call going the extra mile for customers!

  The store is well-kept and stocks a selection of product at a variety of prices. It took a few visits of tire kicking so it didn't happen right away but I was never rushed and I ended up getting the right bike for me. The price made for a good deal and their five-year maintenance program made for value that could not be refused.

  We hadn’t purchased bikes in decades. When we approached Bike Depot, all their staff were helpful, professional, knowledgeable and patient, without the snobbery that we encountered on several biking blogs. They respected our price points, showing us great value options that met our needs from bikes to safety gear to apparel. It was fun to shop when staff are very passionate about their products and corresponding services.

  A couple of weeks later we went back to order a bike rack for the car. They accommodated our request for a product model their store does not normally carry. After receiving the product and unboxed it at home we realized there was a problem. The staff at Bike Depot advised we bring it back as soon as convenient and they would rectify the problem. They were fantastic! Despite challenges with their supplier they championed our cause with the manufacturer directly and were successful in remedying the situation for us.

  For the type of bike I wanted -- and this can be said for any category - there is a handful of brands producing similar product at a price range. The reason why I chose to buy here was the approachable front-line service by people who know about riding. I will be happy to return to Bike Depot and support their business.

  The staff were welcoming and provided guidance without selling hard, attentive without being obtrusive. This was the case in every encounter over repeat visits with help from different individuals, whether they were sales guys/girls or mechanics.

  I was already a very happy customer at Bike Depot's Thornhill location and now I can say the same for their Pickering location. Just bought a new bike & accessories there for my wife and the service was terrific. All staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful - never pushy. Special thanks to Barbara for all her awesome help both at the store and over the phone before we arrived.
