Have been going to this theatre for 20+ years. Sad how loss of business is due to high competition in Whitby. Great theatre, less wise-ass staff needed, but enjoy watching my movies here.

an option to speak to a LIVE person would be nice when we call

The place needs updates and basic maintenance. I got really great service at the (small) food booth, but that was about it: theater #8 had a dirty, wrinkled screen and awful unbalanced sound, with audible distortion during explosions and muffled dialogs.

The single worst theatres I've ever been to. Maybe this isn't cineplex so the quality is this horrendous? I'm not sure, but I don't understand the concept of paying the same price as other theatres yet having extremely uncomfortable seats, severely limited food options, and the threatres are pitch black once the movie starts. How do you even go anywhere if you can't even see yourself? They've gotta step their game up, because any third grade cineplex theatre is leagues ahead of this mess

Just an excellent location. Shows recently released movies. Clean and saves you the drive to Toronto. This location is not about size. The theatres are smaller but that can be fine if you like to watch movies in a calm setting.
