    Always a pleasure, service is very friendly and welcoming. The sushi is fantastic, personally the best in Pickering. I'm spoiled after living in Toronto for so many years, so I have very high standards, hence only 4 stars. Sakura has never let me down, always a great experience.

    Great portions and chunks of sashimi. Plus I love a place that serves mini Korean appetizers on-the-house. We got glass noodles, kimchi and a spicy deep fried rice balls. Yum

    Had a really terrible experience at this restaurant. We waited 2 hours for our food and they mixed up our orders. We had to continually ask for basic items that we did not get. Take out orders were definitely prioritized as we didn't receive our appetizers an hour into the meal. It would have been nice if they compensated us for such a long wait but they offered no such alternatives.

    Please don't go to this restaurant, you can find something much better with more attentive staff and palatable food.

    My first take out experience here was very nice. They gave me an extra Inari for the wait as well! I ordered the vegetarian maki set, and I really enjoyed their yam tempura roll.

    So impressed, best sushi I've had in years and I've been spoiled by Toronto joints. My new go-to sushi place in Pickering and the Durham Region. Food was fresh, delicious and generous. They take pride in their work and it shows. Takeout was great and they even put in a surprise bonus! Can't wait to go back and eat-in next time!
