Something about this mall can give me the creeps.

Pickering Town Centre seems to be a shopping centre that's in transition/flux. It has some good stores, which genuinely deserve walk-in customers... even if only window shopping.

The stores are so outdated. Even shoppers drug mart is stuck in 2005.

Is it worth shopping there? Yes! Should they have more affordable stores? Absolutely! Just don't hold it against the existing stores. They're giving the best deals that you can ask from them.

On the one hand i am stuck in the early 2000s. Some good stores like Aldo and Hudson's bay (but then again what mall doesn't have one if its big) are here. Food court has a decent selection of restaurants and has a lot of seating areas.

On the other hand its really dead. You will wonder if you have gone to a mall that is shutting down.

The problem is that with Sears on its way out(forever)... and a few empty stores... You just can't help but think that it has more to offer. Honestly, if the property management offered much be rates to its tenants it would reap the benefits in more regular monthly payments; and the stores would be able to offer even better deals.

It's big and looks like a nicer mall on the outside, but it crushes your hope almost instantly in some areas.

Basically it is okay. I would not go out of my way to be here.

Loved the Pickering Town Centre. Something about it that sets it apart from the other Town Centers. Right amount of shops and restaurants. Much less crowded. Loved spending an entire day shopping and eating. The roof allows lots of natural light inside the entire mall making it feel a lot more open and spacious.

Fresh sampling available welcomes shoppers throughout the store. Sales offer reasonable pricing and good value. Ready made food is available with a variety of selection to satisfy all cravings. Soups are to die for and you save $1 if you buy them cold and heat them up at home! Alcoholic beverages are also now available which helps with convenience shopping.

Honestly; there isn't much here anymore... There is a large amount of stores that are closed. Most big box stores have left or are shutting down - the smaller stores look cheap and have disposable clothing. However it's does have a decent food court if you're looking to grab a quick bite. But overall of you drove 20 minutes in either direction on the 401 you would hit either the Scarborough Town centre or the Oshawa Centre and have a better experience.
